He had 1 horse, 2 oxen, 3 cattle, 10 goats and sheep, 1 swine and 37.0 acres of pasture. By some formula it was determine that the number of cows this pasture will keep was 7. He had 2.5 acres of tillage, had produced 38 bushels of grain, had 9 acres of English and Upland mowing land which produced 7.5 tons of hay per year. |
