I've known Joan my entire life. She was my daycare provider for a few years. I used to love going to her house and spending time with all the other kids there. She had a welcoming home and she always made sure us kids had crafts and things to do. She was a wonderful woman full of love and happiness. She will be missed dearly.

My heart goes out to Paul, his family, and Diana. Joanie as I always called her was such a wonderful and sweet person, and you couldn't help but like her. She was so caring in so many ways. We graduated together in the class of 1962 from Concord High, and she made me so welcome into her home in Florida on visits that I made there. She was the person who always got our class reunions going and I have so many good memories of our reunions at the home Joanie and Paul made together in St. Johnsbury. I will miss her dearly, but all of her suffering and pain is now gone. May you rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus.

My deepest sympathy, Paul to you and your family. As you know, I met Joan in August this year and she immediately made me feel like family. We chatted like we had known each other all our lives. My heart is breaking for you, Paul, your family, Rusty and myself. I did not lose a landlady; I lost a precious friend.
